Who is this Laura Lai anyway?
Journalist, food critic, content creator – and general ray of sunshine – I also happen to have the pleasure of marrying absolute legends across the UAE and beyond.
I became a celebrant when a friend and her fiancée cornered me at a garden party, and asked if I’d wed them. They reckoned I’d smash it.
A quick panic Google search, UKSOC course, handful of weddings and killer reviews later – and here I am…

How it all works…
1) ZOOM CALL
Once you’ve stalked me a bit, and decided that I’m pretty cool, you’ll drop me a message and we’ll slot in an initial 1:1, non-obligatory Zoom call. We put faces to names and you have an opportunity to ask me any questions you have .
2) LOCK IN DATES
If you think we’ve hit it off, we lock in your date with a deposit.
3) THE CHAT
We’ll then have ‘The Chat’ where I ask a million different ways to spill the tea about your relationship, and basically, we have a huge natter about you and everything you want for your special day.
4) CRUNCH TIME
I lock myself away and craft you a knockout, 100% custom-made script that is nothing but you two. Everything you’ve given me works its magic here, and captures your quirks, tells your epic story and celebrates your love.
5) WEDDING DAY!
On your big day, I arrive early, greet your guests, get into position and then it’s showtime! All you have to do is shine bright like the diamonds you are.
